Rules:
I. Individual Breed Trials
Dogs with or without a pedigree may compete in the Individual
Trials. All dogs without a pedigree are classified as "mixed
breed". The different varieties of Belgian Shepherds are counted
as separate breeds.
The combined results of the Individual Jumping and the
Individual Agility runs determine which dogs advance to the
Individual Finals. A disqualification in either of these runs
means that the team cannot advance.
The number of dogs in each breed and height category that can
advance to the finals depends on the number of competitors in
that breed and height category.

II. Pair Trials
A pair consists of two
dogs of the same breed. All dogs without a pedigree are
classified as “mixed breed” and may be paired with each other.
In case of a pair composed of two dogs competing in different
height categories, the pair is classified in the higher
category. Pairs can be entered or changed on site, at
registration.
A pair may consist of one handler with two dogs of the same
breed. However, if such a pair advances to the finals, the
handler must be able to compete in the final run in the form of
a relay, that is, the handler must be able to run two courses
with two dogs in quick succession. For each pair, the result of
the better competitor in the Pair Agility Trial is added to the
result of the better competitor in Pair Jumping Trial to
determine the pair’s combined score. The two best pairs in each
breed advance to the finals, regardless of the number of pairs
of that breed competing in the trials. If both members of a pair
disqualify in one of the two trials, the pair fails to advance
to the finals.
III. Team Trials
A team consists of three or four
dogs of any breed and any height category, representing the
same country. Their handlers must also all be from that
country. Several dogs in a team may compete with the same
handler.
To determine the team score, the results of each team’s three
best dogs in the Team Agility Trial are added to the results of
that team’s three best dogs in the Team Jumping Trial. The first
of these team trials is run in a random order by height
categories, while the second is run in reverse order of the team
results of the first team trial, beginning with the team in last
place after that trial.
IV. NationsTrials
The results of the Individual Breed Jumping and Individual Breed
Agility are counted. For each country, the three best dogs in
each height category advance to the finals of nations. If there
are not enough dogs in some height categories, dogs from other
categories may be used to fill out the team by adding dogs from
the Small category first, then from Medium, and finally from
Large. Only dogs without disqualification in either of the
qualifying runs may be added. The maximum number of participants
from each country is 9.

Dogs with a disqualification are placed together, one place
behind the last dog without a disqualification in their height
category. Then the placements (not the penalty points and time)
of the dogs representing each country are added together to
determine that country’s score, and the winner is the country
with the lowest score. In case of a tie, the country with fewer
penalty points wins. If this still does not resolve the tie, the
country with a lower time score wins.
VII. Prizes:
The top three placements in the Individual Breed, Pair, Team,
Open Individual and Nations will receive trophies and prizes.
